Counsellor and Client Relationship
The alliance between client and therapist is the vessel for the therapeutic journey; when it is valued and nurtured, it provides the safety needed for the work to take place. In integrative counselling, the developing relationship allows the therapist to adapt their approach to the needs of the client, and for the client to feel safe enough to explore and express their needs. Integrative therapy is a collaborative process, and the relationship is central to the success of therapy.
Client Reviews
I am much more confident in myself and my abilities. I’ve definitely made moves away from viewing myself as a victim. I value myself much more. I am no longer a victim but a survivor”. I feel I am growing as a person, and although its sometimes overwhelming and scary I feel a sense of confidence that makes it all worth it. It all down to you, thank you so much Sally.
Thank you Sally I really appreciated your gentle grounded process, which gave me peace of mind, clarity and a new perspective on an issue that was troubling me. I have been left with a feeling of hope for the future.

You are the first professional that I’ve been able to be myself. You provided a safe non-judgemental place for me to talk about my feelings and thoughts. Thank you for that.
